Chile – Vote on sports advertising ban delayed

The lawmaker asked why the initiative had been withdrawn adding that the delay at the very last minute led to questions over transparency. “There is a lot of pressure here because of the money committed,” he said.
The deputy also criticized the presence of Национальная ассоциация профессионального футбола (ANFP) officials in Congress offices last week, prior to the vote on the project. “I demand that, for transparency, the project be voted on as soon as possible and thus avoid further suspicion,” he said.
